Power System Status & Troubleshooting Guide

Battery Status Messages
BATTERY EMPTY
Battery Fully Discharged
  • Recharge or replace battery immediately.
  • Check battery contacts for dirt or corrosion.
  • Use original Nikon battery if possible.
  • Verify charger is working properly.
LOW BATTERY
Battery Level Critical
  • Stop shooting and recharge battery.
  • Turn off non-essential features (LCD, Wi-Fi).
  • Carry spare charged battery.
  • Avoid deep discharge regularly.
Charging System Messages
CHARGE
Battery Charging Required
  • Connect battery to compatible charger.
  • Ensure proper alignment in charger slot.
  • Check charger LED indicator.
  • Replace battery if it fails to charge.
Power System Errors
POWER ERROR
Power System Fault
  • Remove and reinsert battery.
  • Check battery compatibility.
  • Inspect camera power contacts.
  • Reset camera or update firmware.
Note: Persistent power errors may indicate battery or internal power circuit failure.
